One of the inspirations behind Healing Touchstone is creating a place for individuals to feel accepted for who they are and who they want to become. Creating an environment that is flexible for the individual to grow, express, create and be who they were born to be.
A touchstone has various definitions, some define it as a standard, measure, model or pattern. Others say a touchstone is a person who accepts another without criticisms or a grounding symbol that helps a person connect with their inner self and dreams. In EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) a touchstone is referred to as the primary, self defining event in a person's life. At Healing Touchstone we define it as " the thing" that holds a person back from fulfilling their purpose and feeling whole.
Healing Touchstone is a place to help heal debilitating patterns, in an accepting environment. In doing so, an individual liberates the inner parts, from beneath their patterns, to find healing and surpass the barriers that keeps them from living the fulfilling lives they desire. A place that gives all individuals permission to be who they are and lets them release their inner greatness. A place that fosters creativity and healing. A place of acceptance and genuine care.
